"I'm excited about what
God has in store for us at Morningside as we continue being 'a
different people making a difference.' I have a great
desire to reach and touch people for Jesus - just to share with
them the joy He gives to those who live in Him. My life is
from 1st Corinthians 10:30: 'So whether you eat or drink
or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.' Come
and check us out and see what's going on at Morningside - click
on my contact name above and email me, or give me a call and
let's talk about it."

Minister of Children &
Youth -
Billy Ragland |
Billy became our Youth and
Children's Minister on October 1, 2007. He has 24 years in
Youth Ministry, and is the Youth Team Leader for the
Transylvania Baptist Association. He received a degree in
Marketing and Computer Science from Asheville Buncombe Community
College and the University of North Carolina at Asheville.
He is a graduate of Rosman High School. He was born in
Marysville, California, but has lived most of his life in the
Brevard area. He is the son of Bill and Lucille Ragland,
and has one brother, Dale Ragland, and one sister, Rhonda
Ragland Burris.
"I'm excited about what God is doing in our youth and children's
ministries at Morningside. It is my desire to see our
students develop a genuine relationship with Christ, learn what
being a Christ follower means, and then provide opportunities
for them to use their gifts to reach their families, friends,
community, and world. My favorite verse is Galatians 2:20
'I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but
Christ who lives in me. The life I now live in the flesh,
I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself
for me.' That was my grandmother's favorite verse,
and it reminds me that all I do is made possible only through
faith in Christ. You can find out more about our youth and
children's ministry at
www.mbyouth.org or give me a call." |
