Who are we ?  We're Morningside!

Morningside Baptist Church is a member of the Southern Baptist Convention and has been in Brevard as an active congregation since the 1930s.

King Street Baptist Church which had been in its building since 1939 moved to Outland Avenue in the 60's and became Morningside Baptist.

Although the membership is relatively small, the heart and community involvement is big. Particular areas of focus are community friendly studies and activities on Sunday nights that disciple everyone.  We participate in a different mission project each month to reach out to those who are struggling.

At services, dress varies from casual to Sunday Best. Music includes traditional hymns, contemporary Praise and Worship and gospel.

We believe that everyone can and should have a direct and personal relationship with Jesus Christ. A very important way to get to know him is through reading and studying the Word of God (the Bible). Another way is by joining in a fellowship of believers who will help each of us to grow in faith, obedience, love and hope.
